Silhouette Saturday with SVG Cuts
Welcome to my Saturday Silhouette project. As you see I am back in business with a new laptop and my husband got me a new desk top computer too! I use the laptop for my silhouette and the desktop for the blogging. Now I will tell you getting use to the Windows 8 might take awhile, but at least we have a post. This week I am featuring two projects from SVG Cuts Santa's Helpful Elves kit. I love all the things in this collection and made a couple for my little Granddaughter Peyton for her Elf Sally to leave her to remember her by. The first is the shadow box frame with a picture of the two of them. Sally brought her an apron that says I love my elf and Sally's apron said I love my family. So cute that she needed this to remember . The card was left with a note from Sally. Stop by and visit to see all the great svg files they have to offer at www.svgcuts.com Till next week I will get to learning this windows 8 after I celebrate my birthday today!!!

Silhouette Saturday
Welcome to my Silhouette Saturday post.
I just got my new laptop delivered on Thursday so I have tried to get all my files on this new one so I could get working again. I have a back up program but for some reason, one companies svg files did not back up so I lost tons that I purchased. I was lucky that all the rest were fine and I can still create. Since my time was very limited and trying to get ready for Christmas, I created a few tags with files from the Silhouette store. My little granddaughter loves penguins so when I saw this one, I grabbed it up. The penguin is file #15060 and the other two are on the same file #35737. Stop by the Silhouette store and check out what they have. Till next week, I will see you then for another Silhouette project and I wish you all a very Merry Christmas.

Exploring Cricut Saturday Post
Today I am doing the Saturday post at Exploring Cricut. The picture of my project is not very good because I had to use my phone because my laptop crashed and this old PC does not read my camera card. This old PC is on the last leg too, but at least right now it works. Shopping for a new one today! I have thank you cards I created using the Christmas Noel cartridge. I only cut the snowflake at 2 inches and added a pearl. The paper is from Simple Stories Holiday collection. I made the cards and I also made the envelopes using my WeRMemory Keepers Envelope Punch Board. I love this thing and if you haven't seen how it works, go to You tube and there is a video, simple and easy. I also just made a liner for the envelopes to match the paper. For the outside of the envelope, I used a Martha Stewart Punch.
No Silhouette Saturday
My computer crashed with all my software for my Silhouette and will be getting it reinstalled on a new one so no project this week unless I have a miracle and this week, I don't think they are in the cards for me! Only one place to go now is up!!!

Silhouette Saturday
It's that time of the year when we get those gifts together and for some people we like to purchase gift cards. I have some nieces and nephews that love gift cards so they are getting them! I don't like to just put them in a envelope, so I found the cutest gift card holder over at the Silhouette Online store. I love this adorable Santa! It is item # 52485 .I ran the white fur parts through the cuttlebug to give them some texture. The first picture is how it looks and the second shows you how the gift card fits. Stop over to and see what other great ideas they have for gift cards.

Silhouette Saturday with PPBN Designs
Been a while since I posted. Lots happening in my life. Two weeks ago I lost my nephew tragically, and went back to my home state for a few days. Since coming home things have been crazy trying to catch up. As I stated last Saturday my Silhouette machine was having some problems which could not be resolved and it is not 4 months old so they are sending me a new one. Well I decided a girl can never have too many machines, so I bought another one. I have two Cricuts too! So in the future if one goes then I have a back up. It arrived yesterday so I made a quick card to try it out. This card is one of the new designs called Christmas Cheer Square Card Kit from PPBN Designs. I love all of Nikki's cool scrapbook pages and she has lots of great svg images. I decided to use non traditional Christmas colors and added some stickles to it. Now today I am out of town again, but this time for a happier occasion, my nieces wedding. Go take a look at all the great designs at PPBN Designs.

Silhouette Saturday this week.......Not
Well normally I have a great project to share with you from using my Silhouette Cameo. Well on top of having a terrible week with the death of my nephew and being out of state, my 3 month old Cameo decided I have probably over worked it too! After doing several tests, it must be replaced. Not discouraged, I had 3 cricuts and 3 Gypsy machines before we got it right. Just hate being without it. I am getting ready to sell my 275 plus cartridges so I intend to get a back up. Hopefully, I will be back running soon, but I will be working on some Cricut projects in the meantime!

The title was cut at 1.75 inches, Ghost at 4 inches, Frankie and Bride were cut at 4.25 inches. Fast and easy project.

Wednesday Project for Exploring Cricut
Welcome to another daily project for Exploring Cricut. I am not trying to be an overachiever this week at all, but today I am filling in for one of the DT who is not feeling well. I have a simple birthday card I created using the Creative Cards cartridge and some scraps. Don't you love it when you can use leftovers for a project. I think the pattern paper came from Hobby Lobby and I had a 6 inch square and was able to use it. I cut everything at 5 inches and with the left over piece from the front panel, I used it to decorate the envelope I made. This was a quick and easy project. I used CTMH stamp and ink as well. Be sure to join us this week for our challenge at Exploring Cricut too!

Silhouette Saturday with SVG Cuts
Welcome to the Saturday Silhouette post. Today I have made Fall items from a set from SVG Cuts called Leaves Are Falling. There are 5 items in this set, and today I am showing you 3 of them. The first is a barn card and it would be a great invitation to a hayride or bonfire. In the middle is a board that is like the ribbon boards, only made of paper. I did not get my picture for this, but will use one that is nice and fall. I love this because it has so many great little items to stick in the ribbons. The last is another card and it is really great and you could even use it for Thanksgiving. I love all the 3 D items that SVG Cuts has so click on their name and it will take you to their site. I just used some of the scrap papers I had laying around in my drawer so it was a good way to use them up. I inked around the edges and I love how they turned out. Thanks for visiting.

Tuesday Daily Project at Exploring Cricut
Today I have the daily project at Exploring Cricut. I started to do a project related to our challenge theme, but got started fall cleaning and did not finish it. You will see that in a future blog post. I am also cleaning in my scrap room and dug out lots of scraps and today that is what I made the cards I am sharing out of. I used the cartridges Stamping and Cricut Alphabet. These cards are 5 x 7 and exactly the same, but you can see with different color papers they take on a different look. I cut the Happy Birthday at 2 inches from the Stamping cartridge and the stars are cut at 1.25 and 1.50 inches from Cricut Alphabet. I just added some embellishments in my stash and I have two birthday cards ready to be sent! Takes no time at all to use up some scraps and have some cards on hand. Be sure to enter our challenge this week for a chance to win a Mystery prize!

Silhouette Saturday Halloween Project
I have a really cute project to share today. I went with my husband out of town over the weekend for a meeting and I took my iPad with me. I was doing a search for svg files and came across this fantastic site called My Scrap Chick. She has the cutest svg files, but if you do not have a machine to cut those, she has it set up so you can paper pierce it too. Her directions include the patterns. I made 4 of the 8 designs in this kit called Halloween Treating Toppers and Cards. You can use them as cards if you would like, but I loved them as toppers. These were so easy your child could help put them together for a great craft project. Be sure to stop over to her blog and check out all the great designs. I do not have any connection with the site, but love the designs and wanted to share. I think Frankie and Dracula are my favorites! Can you tell I am loving my Silhouette!!
Here is a copy of the designs you get in the kit at My Scrap Chick. Visit her site by clicking the name and check out all the cool projects and designs.

Silhouette Saturday Project
Welcome to my Silhouette project for this week. Thanks for the comments last week on my first project and thanks for making me feel better about cheating on my Cricut lol. This is the second project I have created with my Cameo and I am basically a scrapbooker, but love to do cards and paper crafts as well. Today I want to shout out to Miss Kate Cuttables!(just click on her name and it will take you there) She has the best images and this is where this grouping came from. It is the Picture Day set and was so easy to use and makes a fun page. I am not connected any way with Miss Kate Cuttables, but love them. She gives a free image every day and has deals of the day! I liked them so well that I actually bought one twice! Yikes. She includes a pdf of the images in color and I have printed them in a book and have them by themes now so maybe I will not repeat my purchases! This paper is a older Bo Bunny I had from when I closed my scrapbooking store a few years ago and was perfect for my granddaughters pictures. Since I am a beginner, I just played with the sizes till I thought it would suit my page. Below the picture is the measurements of each cut after they were put together. I can't wait to get into this machine a little more and see what I can do, but for now I love using it for my pages. Be sure to come back here Monday because we are having a new challenge at Exploring Cricut and I will have a great Cricut project to share.

Just a Note project
Happy Saturday all! First off, I am a Cricut girl and always will be, but open to other things. My daughter in law Jessica gave me a Silhouette Portrait machine to play with. I had made up my mind I was not going to like it, but unfortunately, that was not the case no matter how much I kept telling myself that! To the point that my husband bought me the big Cameo. Now it is not going to replace my Cricut what's so ever, but just another way to create! I made my first project for my friend Emily who is a teacher. I made this cute note card box and note cards and envelopes. I got this svg from SVGCUTS and it is a part of the Back to the Books set. There are so many cute things in this set. They have great videos to show you how to put the project together and how to use the machine. I am still learning, but feel really good about creating with it. I will try to do a project with the Cameo every Saturday. There are lots of sites to get free images and next week I will be featuring another place with their cute svgs. Thanks for taking the time to stop by.

The Doc is In! Today I have the Tuesday daily project at Exploring Cricut. My little granddaughter Peyton loves Doc McStuffins and has a little dr kit. She loves to take care of her stuff animals and make them feel better. I decided to grab the camera while she was playing and knew I had to make a layout for her album. Be sure to enter our challenge over at Exploring Cricut this week, it is Cricut choice and you can do any theme and any cartridge, just include 2 cuts at least!!!!

Time For Another Challenge At Exploring Cricut
Welcome to another challenge over at Exploring Cricut. This challenge is Cricut Choice! You are to create a card, layout, or paper craft with any cricut cartridge you want, but include at least 2 cuts. I decide to make a match game for my little granddaughter. I used the Create a Critter cartridge. I decided on that one because the layers were not complicated to do on a smaller scale. I cut all the animals at 2.5 inches each and used the frog, bunny, bear, pig, tiger, duck, raccoon, dog, mouse, cat, penquin, and hippo. I made 2 of each. The box and 3 x 3 chipboard pieces were from Close to My Heart and the paper and card stock from Michaels. For the label on the front, I just made a computer typed Animal Match Game and used a punch for the label. I can't believe I only used one cartridge for this lol. This is a challenge that everyone can enter so please link by Saturday. I am giving a Mystery Prize along with our Top 3 Crafter Button. Hope to see your creation!!!
