Today I have the daily project at Exploring Cricut. I started to do a project related to our challenge theme, but got started fall cleaning and did not finish it. You will see that in a future blog post. I am also cleaning in my scrap room and dug out lots of scraps and today that is what I made the cards I am sharing out of. I used the cartridges Stamping and Cricut Alphabet. These cards are 5 x 7 and exactly the same, but you can see with different color papers they take on a different look. I cut the Happy Birthday at 2 inches from the Stamping cartridge and the stars are cut at 1.25 and 1.50 inches from Cricut Alphabet. I just added some embellishments in my stash and I have two birthday cards ready to be sent! Takes no time at all to use up some scraps and have some cards on hand. Be sure to enter our challenge this week for a chance to win a Mystery prize!

Finally something to post
I haven't posted in a few days, but I have been working on some projects for the upcoming challenges at Exploring Cricut. I have been battling a bad sinus headache for a few days and my allergies are driving me crazy so I am only doing a little bit at a time. I can't take anything because it all knocks me out! Now for my project today. We stopped at Bath and Body over the weekend because my husband likes some mens body products they carry and the little bag was just too cute to throw out! I am the queen of saving stuff to recycle so I decided this could be turned into a cute gift bag and card with just a little paper scraps and my trusty Cricut. I used the cartridges Pop Up Neighborhood, Walk in my Garden, Fancy Frames, Stamping, Wedding, and Stretch Your Imagination. Below the pictures are the cuts.

Let's Explore
Today I am going to explore one of those cartridges that has been sitting around. Next week is my oldest granddaughter Mary-Kate's 9th birthday and my youngest will be 3 in June. They both are very much little Princesses, so I decided to make the dress from Disney Happily Ever After into a birthday card and later use it as an invitation for the little ones party. I welded two of the dresses on page 44 together in the gypsy so it will have the fold at the top and will open up for a verse or the invite. This is just one of the many colors and styles I tried. I cut it at 5.5 inches. I just used some scrap paper from Recollections and added ribbon. There is so much you can do with this. The top is cut from some shimmer pearl American Crafts paper. I hope my Katie will love this! The Happy Birthday was cut from the cartridge Stamping at 1.5 inches.
