Born to Shine!

This week our challenge at Papercutz is to Wish Upon A Star! Make a card, layout, or papercraft using stars and any color or theme you like. I decided to do a two page layout using several stars from good old "George" cartridge and my title Born to Shine is from Mickey Font. The word shine has stickles on it to make it sparkle. Please join us this week by following the link on the name above so we can see what you create. Have a wonderful crafty weekend!

I have been working on layouts this week!!

This week I have been working on layouts. I have been working on this weeks design team project so be sure to come back Friday and check it out. I have papers and embellishments left from where I closed my scrapbooking store that I need to sell and thought I might make some layouts to sell too. I tried to use the materials I had left, but my Cricut always make some appearance in everything I craft nowdays. I do love my cricut. I will do a few more layouts and maybe decide to open a etsy shop to sell these.

Another cute PaperCutz Challenge

I have been doing a lot of scrapbooking lately and I really need too because I am so behind. This weeks challenge at PaperCutz is a color challenge. You use the colors turquoise, red, white, and black and you can do a card, layout, or papercraft of any theme you like. I had some pool pictures I needed to do and used the PaperDolls cartridge and for the title, Hello Kitty Font. I had to dig to find the right colors to use and had fun with the layout. Just click on it to make it bigger to see the detail. Join us this week and let me see what you do with this challenge. Just click on the name above and link your submission. Have fun!!!

Paper Cutz Challenge #103

This weeks challenge at PaperCutz is a Back to School. My children are all grown with children of their own and they struggle getting back into the swing of things and routines again. Summer is way too short nowdays and wish they did not have to go back till September like it use to be when I grew up. This weeks challenge is to make a card, layout, or papercraft in a Back to School theme and it is a 1, 2, 3 challenge too! Use 1 ribbon, 2 buttons, and 3 colors of paper. I have a friend who is a teacher and she has already gone back to school this week so I made her this tissue box cover. I used some Bazzill cardstock, Bo Bunny pattern papers, cut the tag for her name from a Spellbinder Nestibilities die. I used the cricut cartridge Making the Grade too. I also ran the decorative side pieces and top piece through the Cuttlebug too. This was really fun to make and she loved it! I have made a few for the different seasons at my house too. Join us this week and let us see what cute ideas you can come up with! If you are looking for some good scrapbooking supplies at a cheap price, check out my blog at www.theplaceforgreatbargains.blogspot.com Thanks for stopping by and looking at my project this week.
