A great challenge for this week!

All I can say is I am glad this week is over. I had a wonderful time on my scrapping weekend last week, but came home and started with a fever and aches. I am finally feeling like myself this morning. I have still yet unpacked my bags! Now for this weeks challenge over at PaperCutz is to make a layout, card, or craft project for spring. You can use any colors too. I made this little book which I hope to get pictures into soon. Since I felt so bad this week, I still will add to it, but it is bright and cheery which is something I am totally looking forward too! Come and join us this week for the challenge #80.

Challenge #79

This was really a fun challenge to do this week over at Paper Cutz. I hope you will join us this week. The challenge is to make a card, layout or paper craft for a child's birthday with a country or western theme. I had this pattern for a boot that I got somewhere out of a magazine a few years ago and turned it into a card. I love how it turned out. Nothing hard on this and I used scraps from my stash. I made one like this a couple years ago for a friend who wanted some ideas for her fathers birthday and they were doing a western theme. I am glad I remembered how to do it.
I am packed and ready to head out of here in a couple hours to go on a scrapping weekend. I am so excited to go and get some major scrapping accomplished without the interruptions of laundry and everyday chores. If I can finish what is in my bag, I will have all three grandchildren finished for 2009! Does that tell you how far behind I am. I hope to share some when I return. Be sure to join our challenge this week and have a super weekend!!!!

This weeks challenge #78 a little late posting...

This has been a busy weekend and I am late posting this weeks challenge over at PaperCutz. This week you can make a card, layout or papercraft using a hand stamped, digital stamped or Cricut cut image of ladybugs, bees or butterflies in any colors. I used butterflies in this layout because my granddaughter Peyton had a mobile in her crib that was butterflies and she did not like it! Join us this week with your project. I have been busy getting things packed to go on a scrapbooking retreat weekend with 4 of my friends. I am so looking forward to finishing my grandchildrens 2009 albums...can you say behind! I think I am finally packed except for some last minute items to add. Hope all of you have a fabulous week and Happy Valentines Day tomorrow.
