I am glad Easter is a little later this year so that it might be a nice sunny day for the egg hunting and all the enjoyment the children have after dinner. I know my grandchildren love hunting eggs because they know they are loaded with money!! This week over at PaperCutz our challenge is to make a layout, card, or papercraft with the Easter theme in any colors you like! I decided to do a couple pages for this weeks challenge. I used the Easter 2010, Simply Charmed and Holiday cakes for this project. I think the paper I used was from a Spring stack I had and the cardstock was Bazzill. Please join us this week with your project!

I am so ready for summer to get here and time to think about those summer activities that we will need to scrap. This week over to Paper Cutz the challenge this week is to use three pattern papers, any theme and any colors to make a card, layout or paper project. I used some pattern papers from Bo Bunny and Bazzill cardstock. I used the cricut cartridges Life's a Beach and Summer Vacation . Please come and join us this week and show us what you can do with three different pattern papers.

I admit I was a little behind preparing my challenge project so I did an easy one. I was so intent in finishing the grandchildrens 2009 albums that time got away from me. I have those completed now and even though I have all of 2010 to do for 3 grandchildren, I somewhat feel ok with that. This is a party invite that I did and I always loved these Bo Bunny papers and went through my stash of scraps and found enough to do a little invite. Come and join us this week at Paper Cutz and do anything your want and any theme this week! Your imagination can just take over and let us see what you have done. Just click on the name above and join us.

I am finally getting to post a few layouts I did while on a scrapbooking weekend with friends recently. I think I completed 42 layouts that weekend and still have a few more to finish before I have completed my granddaughter Mary-Kate's 2009 album. I am so behind, but anxious to get caught up now that I am feeling better. Retirement has not been as great as it should be because of some health issues, but hopefully will all be behind me soon. Thanks for looking at my layouts.

Just because of our challenge this week over at PaperCutz! This week make something for St. Patty's Day. You can make a layout, card or paper craft. I made this card from the shamrock on the Paper Dolls cartridge and decorated it with some paper and stickers from Reminisce. I just added some flowers and ribbon, so simple! Come and join this challenge and let us see what you can come up with!!! I plan on posting some layouts I got finished on my trip this weekend. I got the flu when we got back and haven't had a chance to do it.
