Sunday Project at Exploring Cricut and More

Hope you have all had a wonderful weekend. Rainy and cold here in Kentucky and a good day for crafting!!!  Today I am sharing a project over at my other blog, Exploring Cricut and More.  Today I have created these adorable Spring Pals Treat Sacks from SVG Cuts.  These are so quick and easy and would be great for the little ones for a school or church treat.  Other than the bags themselves, I used my scraps.  I am including pictures of how the bag goes together which is so easy!!!  Stop by SVG Cuts and check out all the great files they have.
The bags completed.  Three come in the set.  Rabbit, lamb, and chick.
This is the way the bag cuts out.
In the directions, it shows where to score for the folds.
I used scor tape to put it together on the side and then the bottom just folds in and goes together perfectly.
Finished bag and all ready to decorate and fill with lots of goodies.

Silhouette Saturday with PPBN Designs

Happy Saturday. Hope your week has been a good one. Lots of home projects going on for me and not much crafting time. I did find some time for my Saturday Silhouette project.  I guess you know from my Saturday posts that I love the scrapbook page svg files from Nikki at PPBN Designs.  All the elements are perfectly sized for your pages and all you need to do is cut and put them on and add pictures.  Makes my scrapbooking so fast and believe me I am still behind with 3 grandchildren.  I loved this My Little Buddy page and really my grandson is too old for this, but I am still working on my grown sons albums so I think it will still come in handy.  I added some white pen stitches to the lettering and some stickles to the baseball on the threads.  Such a cute and easy page.  Stop by and see all the great things they have for your paper crafting.  Visit her at www.ppbndesigns.com  Next week I have a super project from SVG Attic.

"The Luck of the Irish " Challenge at Exploring Cricut and More

Welcome to another challenge for Exploring Cricut and More. This is the first challenge that is open to all die cut machines!!! My project is the first HTV shirt I have tried with the Silhouette Cameo and I am so pleased how this turned out. I used Heat Transfer Vinyl from Expressions Vinyl and it was so great and easy to use. I just used my household iron and a cotton shirt and it looked so professional.  My little granddaughter loved it and will wear to preschool this week.  Now I will be making more shirts.  The svg files were from the Silhouette store and the item numbers are in the picture.  I got the little shirt marked down for $2 and so this was a bargain for sure!!!

Sunday Project at Exploring Cricut and More

Welcome to the Sunday post for Exploring Cricut and More.  We have changed our format and now you can use any die cut machine along with cartridges, svgs, pnc and other files.  Our focus is still on die cuts.  Please check out the information on the blog.  Today I did a Cricut project with my Expressions 2 machine and used the cartridges Art Philosophy and Cricut Alphabet. This is the last winter thing I intend to make (I hope) cause I am thinking Spring!!! A winter storm is suppose to hit us today and hope it is the last!!!  I cut the tag 2.25 and 2.5 inches from Art Philosophy along with the snowflakes cut at 2 inches.  From Cricut Alphabet I cut the flourish swirls at 2 inches.  The paper is from my stash and from Bo Bunny. I only used scraps for this card and the pearls and jewels were from my stash of goodies.  I shared my craft room this week and now I am organized and ready to get busy!!!
