Today I am filling in at Exploring Cricut with a couple of shaped cards. I used the cartridge Disney Happily Ever After and cut at 5 inches. I flip one and welded together in Gypsy. I used pearls and ribbon and stamped with some CTMH stamps. Very simple and perfect for the little princess in your life.

Wednesday at Exploring Cricut
Hello! I am filling in today for Jessica at Exploring Cricut and showing you some more of the birthday party projects I have been working on lately. First, we have the invitations to the party that I created using the cartridge Disney Happily Ever After. I took the dress on page 44 icon feature and welded two together to form the invitation and then added the layers and a ribbon. They were cut at 5.25 inches. On the inside we cut the invite to fit the dress bottom. The thank you cards are from Princess Party cartridge using the castle card and then I added the thank you to the front. The castle card is a gate fold card. The card was cut at 5.5 inches and the thank you was cut at 2 inches.

Tuesday Daily Project at Exploring Cricut
As a mother of two sons, I never got to have frilly little birthday parties for girls. I was blessed that both of my sons gave me a granddaughter. I love making things for my two girls so much and love pink and purple. This week my youngest angel girl is having a birthday and I helped with the party supplies. Over a couple days I will show you what I have been working on. Today for my project at Exploring Cricut, I will share the treat bags for the guests. The boys are the only one with cricut, but the girls were too cute I had to share them too. I used the cartridge Disney Happily Ever After to cut the shield at 3.5 inches and the sword at 3 inches. I first ironed on Heat and Bond permanent to the fabric, removed the paper backing and put it on a new, sticky mat. I did not change any settings and it cut like paper. I positioned the pieces on the bag and ironed them on. I purchased the bags at Hobby Lobby. For the girls bags, I measured the bag around, deducted 2 inches, used non roll elastic, glued the ends together and tied pieces of tulle and tightened as I went. I stitched the tulle to the bag in 3 places and then went back with glue gun and adhered the rest. I took the trim and hot glued it to the top. These turned out cute.

Let's Explore
Today I am going to explore one of those cartridges that has been sitting around. Next week is my oldest granddaughter Mary-Kate's 9th birthday and my youngest will be 3 in June. They both are very much little Princesses, so I decided to make the dress from Disney Happily Ever After into a birthday card and later use it as an invitation for the little ones party. I welded two of the dresses on page 44 together in the gypsy so it will have the fold at the top and will open up for a verse or the invite. This is just one of the many colors and styles I tried. I cut it at 5.5 inches. I just used some scrap paper from Recollections and added ribbon. There is so much you can do with this. The top is cut from some shimmer pearl American Crafts paper. I hope my Katie will love this! The Happy Birthday was cut from the cartridge Stamping at 1.5 inches.
