Exploring Cricut and More Blog Hop and Challenge
Welcome! If you have arrived here from Michelle S's blog you have reached the last stop before going back to the main blog. I hope that you have enjoyed all the great projects our DT has shown you today. Now, I am sharing a few things. I am not trying to be an over achiever, but love Christmas projects and got a little carried away on this challenge lol. I hope you will bear with me and look at all these goodies and maybe you will want to make some yourself. At the end, you will see some blog candy I am giving away this week too.
For my first project I am sharing, I used my Silhouette machine and made these adorable Snowman box, Santa card, and small gift box from SVG Cuts Christmas Open House set. The Snowman was not hard when you actually watch Mary put it together and not try to do it on your own. One thing I like is she shows you exactly how each fold goes and makes it easier. The hat comes off and you can fill with a treat. The card was super easy and I used the cuttlebug to emboss his beard and mustache. The box is actually one piece of cardstock and the band slides off and you can fill it with goodies. Makes great boxes for some candy when you want to give someone a little gift without breaking the budget!!!
Now this is my favorite project of all. I made this for my granddaughter Mary-Kate because she loves the Elf movie. Now a few others in the family want one too lol. I used my Silhouette Cameo for this project too and purchased the files at the Silhouette store. I used the verse file#36164 and the elf feet file#23767. I used HTV and my heat press. The red is glitter vinyl which makes it pop. Pictures do not do this justice at all.
Well this is a last minute quick project. I got a Cricut Explore this week and made these two projects very quickly. I used the canvas design to lay out the bag and the picture which is a feature I like. The bag the images are from Stretch Your Imagination and TC December 25. The picture is cardstock and the images are from TC December 25 and the frame is from Dollar Tree. Nice inexpensive gift for someone. Since I had only done the card you make when you start the Explore, not too bad. I then ventured with svg files that you saw in my Sunday project.
Now for a little blog candy. Please leave me a comment and let me know which was your favorite project and be sure to be a follower of my blog to be considered for the prize. I can only send in the US due to shipping cost. Please make sure to post your email too. Winners will be announce on Sunday, August 3.
Now you have finished the hop so go back to Exploring Cricut and More and leave us a comment. I hope to see you enter the challenge too for a chance to win other prizes. If you missed any of the DT blogs, here is the list to go hopping!

Sunday Project at Exploring Cricut and More
Hello and happy Sunday to all! Today I have the post over to my other blog Exploring Cricut and More and I am sharing this adorable card I created with the Cricut Explore machine and SVG Cuts Box Cards Strawberry card. I love all the cards in this set, but this might be my favorite, could be cause I love strawberries. I just used pattern paper from Michaels and cardstock too. I did run the berries through the cuttlebug to give them the seed look. I haven't stamped the front yet because I am not sure what I am going to use it for yet. This card is so easy and it was done with no problems at all. Leo and Mary tell you the size your cuts need to be and all you have to do is just go in and size and it comes out perfect. I added a little stickles and called it a card! Believe it or not, but this is the second thing I did with the Explore when I got it. I first made the card they have you make and jumped right in. I prepared myself with watching lots of videos and special thanks to Ken and Joy for making them so easy!!! Be sure to join us tomorrow for a new challenge and we are having a blog hop too so don't miss it or you might miss out on some great prizes.

Blog Post for PPBN Designs today
Welcome! Today I have the blog post over at www.ppbndesigns.blogspot.com and I have created a couple of her new svg files. The first one is a quick and easy shaped Birthday Girl card. I loved how easy this was to cut and put together. I used my Silhouette Cameo and just cardstock and added a little stickles.
My second project for today is a scrapbook page I created with a new file called Off to Kindergarten and used some elements from one of the older files called First Day of Preschool. For this layout I used paper from a Me and My Big Ideas school stack, Michaels cardstock and added some ribbon. My little granddaughter will be going to kindergarten in about 3 weeks so I am ready for that first picture. I used my Silhouette Cameo for this one too. I did receive my Cricut Explore today so I will be working on learning it and creating in both!!! Love my toys! Stop over to PPBN Designs and check out all the great files for the crafter on a budget! Take a look at her fantastic club too!

Monday with at the Snapdragon Snippets Blog
Happy Monday!!! Today I am sharing a project over to the Snapdragon Snippets blog. I created some thank you cards using the 5 Petal Flower card file #27666 and the 5 flower envelope file#27667. These are so easy to use and think of the combinations you can make! I am always needing thank you cards, so these are so easy to mass produce. I used some old Stampin Up papers that were double sided in blue and green and added cardstock. Just added stickles and a jewel and they are ready for me to write my note inside. The envelopes are quick and easy to use. Check out these files in the Silhouette store and make some cards today!!!

A Little Frozen Sunday Project
Happy Sunday! Today I have a project over at Exploring Cricut and More and I am sharing a gift bag and card today. My little granddaughter Peyton recently had her 5th birthday and her theme was Frozen so the good Nana I am, I decided to stay with her theme! I made a gift bag and a card in the box. I used my Silhouette Cameo and several svg files. I used Snapdragon Snippets July 4th card in the box, file#61113 and the envelope file#60587 that you can buy in the Silhouette store but of course I did not use the designs in it. I love this card because it is larger than most of the card boxes I have found. For the bag and card, I used files from PPBN Designs, I used most of the characters from the Let It Go Set and From the First Time and from Little Scraps of Heaven, I used files from their Ice Princess set, the Princess and the ice and snow. I think the snowflakes too which I stamped Happy Birthday and from us. I just used a font in the software to make the number 5. I used some paper from Bo Bunny and cardstock from Michaels. The shiny bag is from the good old Dollar Tree. I used a brad on the card and it was from Hobby Lobby. I forgot to photograph her other packages, but I wrapped them in white and just added blue bows and in the center added a big snowflake brad like on the card. This was fun to make. I think I made the character 2.25 inches and they worked perfectly for this card. I think the final measurements of the card was 7 x 7 and I was glad they made the envelope to fit it and it was so easy to make. Think of the characters you could make for a little ones card!!! Sorry for the bag picture so hard photographing a shiny bag!!! Join us tomorrow for a new challenge!

Sweet As Honey with PPBN Designs
Welcome to my blog post for the PPBN Designs blog. Today I have created a two page layout using the svg files from PPBN Designs. I used Sweet as Honey title, Cute Single Honey Bee, Honeybee on Flower and Cute Flying Bee. These were fun and easy to use. I decided just to use cardstock so that the designs did not get lost in background paper and love these colors. These pages are all ready for my little angel granddaughters pictures. Stop by PPBN Designs and check out all the files and also check out her monthly club! For only $7 a month you will receive 60 free designs a month plus 40% off all your other files. Great deal!!

Exploring Cricut and More Post
Well I was not suppose to do a post today over at Exploring Cricut, but things happen so I had to get a quick card together. I used a ball hat svg file from SVG Cutting Files and my Silhouette Cameo. This is a quick and easy card that you can customize to your favorite team in any color. I just used cardstock and made some stitches with a white pen and used a font in my collection in the Designer software.

4th of July Post over at Snapdragon Snippets
Happy 4th of July. I hope you all enjoy a happy and safe holiday weekend. Today I am filling in over at the Snapdragon Snippets blog with this great 4th of July card in a box. I love this file because it is bigger than most I have made and they even made an envelope for the size. You can purchase these files over at the Silhouette Store. The card is file#61113 and the envelope is file#60587. I used mostly cardstock and found this pattern paper in my stash and really not sure where it came from. I think Hobby Lobby but do not hold me to it!!! I know today is the 4th so you will want to start working on other cards, but this base is so easy to adapt to other holidays and occasions. I recently used this for my granddaughters birthday and you will see that soon. Enjoy your holiday, but take some time and enter the contest that Snapdragon Snippets and SVG Attic have this month. It is called "Anything Goes" and all you have to do is created a project using any of the files from either company. Some nice prizes too!!! Go either to SVG Attic or Snapdragon Snippets

Special Post today over at Exploring Cricut and More
Welcome to my post for Exploring Cricut and More. Today I have a special post that is sponsored from one of my favorite companies, Expressions Vinyl. I buy all my vinyl for all the different projects I create from them. Today I have some projects to share with you that I used Siser Easyweed HTV (heat transfer vinyl) and outdoor vinyl Oracle 651. Be sure to read all the way to the end for an awesome giveaway!!
Today these lovely models, Katie and Peyton are wearing some t-shirts I made with Expressions Vinyl HTV Siser Easyweed in the colors white, red and royal blue. The vinyl is a breeze to use and I do use a heat press, but before I bought it I used a hot iron and had no issues with it. For this shirt I used my Silhouette Cameo and svg files from Miss Kate Cuttables called" Our Little Firecracker." I am lucky enough to have 2 of them!!! The doll shirt was from a company called Punch Place Plus and I used stars in the Silhouette software and the Arial font.
It was easy to cut and layout where I wanted them and then applied the heat with my heat press.
Sorry for the lighting in my photos here, but the weather was not cooperating and for a couple days had only clouds and rain. Now for these projects I used the Oracle 651 outdoor vinyl in the colors white, red and gentian. Makes perfect items to use in your holiday plans for this weekend.
For the drink mug I used Lori Whitlock file#29392 in the Silhouette store and it was really easy to apply laying the vinyl. For the drink holder which is from the Dollar Tree, I used part of Miss Kate Cuttables USA Title file.
This little utensil holder has some of the graphics from Miss Kate Cuttables Our Little Firecracker set. I picked up this holder at Michaels.
The wood sign is made from Pine wood and I sprayed it with Rustoleum Painters Touch 2 x paint. I used a 4th of July image from My Vinyl Designer kwdesigns002. The star border is from the Silhouette store and it is file#28951.
The flower vase has no vinyl only paper and I used a file from SVG Cuts Mom's Garden set. this was so easy to make. My little cupcake holder is a glass candlestick I got at the Goodwill store with a old glass plate which I glued to it. I made the cupcake toppers and the straw toppers with file #44925 from the Silhouette store.
Now my granddaughters and table are all ready for the 4th celebrations with the help of Expressions Vinyl. Just think of the ideas you can come up with! You can cut your vinyl in any die cut machine and start creating some great projects for your home and family!! To help you get started with this, Expressions Vinyl and Exploring Cricut & More will give a $25.00 gift certificate. You must leave a comment at Exploring Cricut & More and be a follower of our blog. Remember, you can find us on Facebook and Pinterest too. Most of all, be sure to head over to Expressions Vinyl and check out all the different vinyl and colors. They even have tutorials to show you how to do your projects. Don't forget we have a challenge this week too. Winner will be picked from the comments with random.org and you have till Saturday, July 5 to check us out. I will announce the winner of the certificate at the time we announce the Top 3 Crafters for the challenge.
