Last of what I made for party
The party last Saturday was a big success and my little granddaughter thought it was the best birthday ever. Guess when you are 3 they are all the best ever, but she was so happy with it all. I made a cupcake stand for her and a good friend of the family made her a cake. We thought since most kids like cupcakes, my daughter in law thought she would make mini ones. I wanted to make a cupcake stand fitting for the princess of the party! I used pcp pipe for the columns and used cake boards which I glued three together for stability. I made a tutu for the bottom and covered it with wrapping paper and scrapbook papers.
Cake boards, pcp pipe, and materials for the cupcake stand.
Wrapped the columns with white linen looking wrapping paper, and covered the top two tiers with scrapbooking paper from Hobby Lobby.
Love the colors of this paper!
Put it all together and added a few little cupcakes for the picture and a Princess crown for the top layer. This took a couple days to put together, but turned out great. I was able to take a damp cloth and clean it up for another use and I can take it apart and do another color. I just used hot glue to put it all together.
