Tuesday Daily Project Exploring Cricut

Today I have the Tuesday daily project at Exploring Cricut. I have a couple birthday cards to make this week so I thought I better get in gear since I have not been crafting too much lately. This will be for a male so I picked a plaid pattern paper that I had in my stash. I am enclosing several pictures to show how I took one image and created it the way I envisioned it. I used the cartridges Birthday Bash and Don Juan.
Below are some pictures and measurements along with the materials used for this card.
I first cut the base 5 x 7 out of brown cardstock from Michaels and the pattern paper is from Bo Bunny that I had in my stash. I inked the edges. The pattern paper is cut 2.75 x 7 inches.
From Birthday Bash I cut the phrase button on page 22 at 4.5 inches and the phrase shadow at 4.5 inches and in the gypsy hid the phrase so only the bow would show for that cut.
I cut the bottom of the package off and added pop dots to it and mounted on the pattern paper to look like a package and added the bow. I used glitter glue to make the bow sparkley. The title
It's Your Day is also cut from Birthday Bash at 3 inches and glitter glue added too. I cut a tag from Don Juan at 2.25 inches and stamped it Happy Birthday from a stamp in my collection. I just used some of the pattern paper inside and will stamp a verse. Very simple and easy card!!
