Tuesday Daily Project over at Exploring Cricut

Welcome to our Tuesday daily project over at Exploring Cricut.  I turned this thrift store find into a really cute winter scene picture.  The inside of the frame measures 5.50 x 5.50 so it was not that big and I knew my items would have to be small.  The picture does not do it justice, very beautiful, but lots of rain and cloudy when I took the pictures.  I used the cartridges Winter Frolic, Christmas, and Christmas Cards. Below the pictures are my details.  Be sure to enter the challenge over at Exploring Cricut too!

Tuesday Daily Project Exploring Cricut

Hope you all have been enjoying our blog hop this week at Exploring Cricut! If you missed it, go to the sidebar on the blog and click where it says new challenge and it will take you to the post. Most of our DT will be giving something away this week too! Now for the Tuesday daily project. I am going along with the theme of Christmas in July and created ornaments using old cds. I always save those that come in the mail or any bad ones to use for craft projects. I am showing pictures of how I did this. I used the cartridges Very Merry Tags, Winter Frolic, Winter Woodland and Paper Doll Dressup for my cuts. Below the pictures are the measurements. Be sure to enter our "Christmas in July" challenge this week.

Just start with some old cds, using you get some in the mail or have some old ones.

I covered mine with scor tape because it holds so well and works great to hold the paper.

Smooth out paper and trim around the edges with scissors or a craft knife.

I just punched a hole with my crop-a-dial.....that is one awesome tool for sure! Now you are ready to decorate however you like! I have added pictures before too. Now for my sizes

Something to share

This is a layout I created for the magazine "The Bug " which is no longer printed. I loved how it turned out and even though they did print it in the last digital issue, I wanted to share. This is a layout of my granddaughter Peyton's first time in the snow. Below the picture are the details and the many cartridges I used to make this fun page. It is hard to see but I used Close to My Heart Liquid Applique on the hat and mittens which made them appear to have fur.
