Back to Crafting....

Now the weather is starting to clear up (at least till the next mess arrives) I am getting back into getting projects finished. Here is a card I made for the Whimiscal Scraps and Bugs. It was a fun challenge.

The Big Storm of 2009

I had to close the store today and that was one of the hardest things for me to do. We got a lot of ice last night and it was still coming down this morning. It later turned to snow. It finally has stopped tonight, but it is so cold so that means everything will be really slick in the morning. Lots of damage from the ice and some people are experiencing power outages. We are lucky we are safe and warm at home. We went out before it got dark and took a few pictures which I wanted to share. The one of my car was when it started to snow this morning. It was about the biggest flakes I have ever seen. The rest are around town at the ice on trees downtown by my store.

What A Day!

This morning we woke up to 4-5 inches of snow. This picture is in front of my store. You can see it looks like someone drove up on the sidewalk and they just missed the front of the office supply store next to my store. The snow is not really a big deal, but then the sleet started and has continued all day. It is suppose to continue throughout the night and then start snowing again! I went into the store today because I had an order that was suppose to come in and instead I got two orders. I got in the Martha Stewart Valentine Punches! I plan on taking some pictures in the morning of the ice and whatever mess shows up while we sleep!

This is Kaiser Crafts papers and embellishments. I love this pattern and the wood scroll pieces look so great on a page. I am not sure what pictures I will use on this page yet.
