Today at Exploring Cricut we are starting a new challenge. You are to create a card, layout, or paper craft for Spring using at least 1 button, 2 Cricut cuts, and 3 colors of pattern paper or cardstock. What a fun challenge to get ready for those Spring pictures. With being sick last week, I am totally looking forward to Spring except my allergies will probably disagree! Here is the page I am sharing for this challenge. I used the cartridges Quarter Note, Easter 2010, Walk in my Garden, and Pop Up Neighborhood. Below are the directions and materials. Please join us and enter your project by Saturday, April 13.
Cartridges: Quarter Note-title cut at 2 inches and welded in gypsy
Easter 2010-grast cut at 1.75 (5) and welded
Walk in my Garden- tulip cut at 2.75
hycinth cut at 2.75
daffodil cut at 2.75
bee cut at 1 inch
Pop Up Neighborhood-tire swing tree cut at 4.5 inches
Paper was from my stash
Cardstock was from Michaels
Buttons-butterfly and flower from Doodlebug I had for a long time
Stickles

How beautiful!! Love the tree and those great flowers. And that little bee and butterfly! Awesome layout Diane!!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove your layout Diane!!!! That title font from Quarter Note is so pretty and I love the little scene you made-perfect for some fun spring pictures! Hope you're feeling better and got to have some fun with your granddaughter over spring break. And I know what you mean about the allergies-on the one hand I look so forward to spring and seeing everything bloom and grow, and on the other hand it means breaking out the drug cocktail so I can tolerate all the blooming plant life.... but it's worth it after the cold winter :)
